“Why don’t I like you?”
Jiang Lai looked at Si Yina, who had her pinned against the wall. If it was this subject, she had plenty to say. “Perhaps you should rephrase that. What is there about you that is worth liking? I know you are outstanding—your family, your looks, and your capabilities in all aspects make you the most impressive person I’ve ever met. I might never meet anyone who surpasses you.
But those are your strengths; they are not things I can love. In my eyes, none of these qualities make me like you.”
Jiang Lai’s words were blunt. She knew she was stripping away Si Yina’s dignity, and by the end, her voice even trembled slightly. “Furthermore, being by your side right now… I feel nothing but a lingering sense of disgust and loathing.”
“I don’t understand… I don’t understand… I’m clearly so good.”
Si Yina’s composure shattered. In her agitation, she gripped Jiang Lai’s shoulders tightly. But Jiang Lai’s gaze remained resolute. Was the woman before her really just like what her mother said? Someone who would absolutely never love her?
Si Yina shook her head, a bitter expression appearing on her face. She didn’t even understand her own emotions—why did she suddenly care about how Jiang Lai felt about her?
She found herself wondering if the other person would like her, if they would have a good impression of her, if they would walk together forever… these were thoughts she had never entertained before.
If these thoughts had existed in the past, she wouldn’t have done such terrible things to Jiang Lai.
Clearly, she had never cared before if Jiang Lai liked her. All she had thought about was whether she could possess Jiang Lai’s body. From beginning to end, all she liked, all she was interested in, was her flesh.
Si Yina forced herself to clarify her thoughts. Once she reaffirmed her original intent, her mood was no longer so sentimental. As long as she could savor Jiang Lai’s “flavor,” wouldn’t that be enough?
Jiang Lai watched as the woman before her shifted from an expression of total despair to a sudden, cold smile. The contrast was so jarring that Jiang Lai couldn’t react for a moment.
However, seeing that Si Yina’s emotions had seemingly stabilized, did that mean they could finally leave?
Jiang Lai tried to quietly break free without alarming her, but the moment she shifted even slightly, Si Yina leaned in and pressed against her again.
“What are you trying to do now?”
“Nothing. I just want to touch you…”
Jiang Lai’s current position was even more humiliating than before. What had started as a simple “kabedon” (wall-pin) had turned into Si Yina forcing a leg between Jiang Lai’s thighs, their bodies pressed flush against each other.
Neither of them was wearing thick clothing, so Jiang Lai could clearly feel the softness of Si Yina’s body. As Jiang Lai tried to push against Si Yina’s shoulders to break free, Si Yina’s hand moved with practiced ease toward the zipper of the dress.
With a sharp zip, the beautiful gown that had been clinging tightly to Jiang Lai’s body lost its structure. Without support, it began to fall open.
“What are you doing?! We’re still outside!!”
Jiang Lai’s cold mask finally crumbled into panic. A faint, uncontrollable flush of pink reached the corners of her eyes as she hurriedly used one hand to clutch the collapsing dress. Thanks to her quick reflexes, she avoided becoming an exhibitionist.
“I told you, I want to touch you. Touching you through clothes doesn’t feel good at all.”
Si Yina had returned to her usual rogue-like self. Jiang Lai looked at her, sensing that dangerous aura once again. Though familiar, she detested it.
The woman had barely finished her verbal teasing before her hand reached up. Jiang Lai reached out to grab it, hoping to make her realize they were in public, but her resolve suddenly turned into a high-pitched, distorted gasp. “What are you doing?!”
Si Yina supported Jiang Lai’s waist with one hand and caught her reaching hand with the other, burying her head deeply into the crook of Jiang Lai’s neck.
This woman was actually licking her collarbone, even focusing her “favors” on the small indentation in the center. Jiang Lai didn’t feel shy or ashamed; she only felt like she was going to be covered in saliva. She looked at the woman who wanted to drench her in spit and thought of her as nothing more than a dog.
Sensing Jiang Lai’s total lack of a “pleasurable” response, Si Yina’s mood soured instantly. She switched to holding Jiang Lai with both hands and, using the strength in her arms and legs, hoisted Jiang Lai up abruptly.
Jiang Lai’s mind went blank. The sudden sensation of being lifted made her instinctively wrap her legs tightly around Si Yina’s waist. In an instant, they were locked in an incredibly ambiguous, intimate pose.
Jiang Lai couldn’t even lower her head because Si Yina was buried so tightly in her neck, refusing to give up a single inch of contact.
“You can’t do this… I didn’t agree to this.”
Jiang Lai’s mind was a mess. Reason told her the situation was extremely dangerous and she shouldn’t let Si Yina take such liberties, but she was completely controlled.
She was supported by Si Yina’s waist and the wall behind her. Below her was a slender, beautiful leg. She wanted to get down, to put her feet back on the ground, but Si Yina gave her no chance.
Si Yina’s right hand naturally slipped through the opening of the dress zipper, pressing firmly against Jiang Lai’s waist. Skin against skin, she traced the graceful curve of the waist, occasionally giving it a light pinch.
Her other hand was even bolder, supporting Jiang Lai’s thigh. Because Jiang Lai was wearing a long gown, she wasn’t wearing any pants underneath.
Under the touch of Si Yina’s left hand, she could feel that the flesh of Jiang Lai’s thigh was soft, not overly firm. It felt incredibly smooth, like melting suet jade in her palm. If she had known, she would have kept her hand on that thigh during lunch; that would have been true bliss.
Si Yina’s actions became increasingly unscrupulous. Her hands felt like balls of fire, igniting a parching heat wherever they touched Jiang Lai’s skin. A web of desire was being woven, binding her so tightly she couldn’t move.
Jiang Lai tried to cut through it but found it impossible. Just as she was being tortured to the point of numbness, almost losing the strength to struggle, a pale, slender hand appeared on Si Yina’s shoulder.
