Class 9 Group Space Station, inside the Central Control Room.
The top twenty students in the class had been summoned and were discussing what strategy they should adopt.
Considering that this assessment was practically a real war, and the only winner would be the last surviving group, most people favored a conservative tactic.
As long as the base’s absolute safety was guaranteed, small teams would be sent out to gather intelligence—including but not limited to the locations of other groups’ bases, and advantageous terrain that might be nearby.
In short, they would let the other groups fight among themselves first, and then swoop in to reap the benefits.
It was indeed a very stable plan, but Yun Ruoxi, who had remained silent, held a different opinion.
“This plan is too idealistic. I’m sure the other groups are thinking the same thing.”
The blue-haired girl sat in the main seat of the Central Control Room, the tall alloy chairback almost enveloping her whole figure.
She looked somewhat like a child sitting on a throne—a peculiar sight.
Her expression was calm, and standing behind her was the only student whose ranking was at the bottom, yet still managed to enter the Central Control Room thanks to family connections.
“If everyone is waiting for the other groups to fight first, who do you think will have the last laugh?”
“Who?” Gangmu blurted out.
“Class 1. Without a doubt, only Class 1!” Yun Ruoxi’s answer was firm and decisive.
“This past year, Mo Yuan has copied the abilities of all the students. In terms of strength, I’m not afraid of him, but in terms of versatility, not even a hundred of me could match him.”
“You could say, with Mo Yuan there, Class 1 isn’t just Class 1, but a microcosm of the entire battle camp.”
The other students fell silent, obviously recalling the fear instilled by Mo Yuan.
“We must take the initiative. Since this is war, we need to think like it’s war. Otherwise, we’re doomed to lose.”
“Find allies and resist the enemy together.” Yun Ruoxi clenched her fist. “We should join forces with another class. I suggest we ally with Class 3.”
“Why choose Class 3?” Viper couldn’t help but argue.
Yun Ruoxi shot her a glance.
“Because Class 3 is the best choice. Their top fighters are my friends.”
In truth, this was actually Lin Zhen’s strategy from Class 3, but she borrowed it directly for the sake of the show.
And since the plan itself was effective, Yun Ruoxi wouldn’t jeopardize her classmates’ results just for fun.
Looking at the densely packed bullet comments, it seemed to be working quite well.
[‘United as husband and wife! Lao Lin and Lao Xi even think of the same tactics!’]
[‘2333’]
[‘While other groups are thinking about how to form alliances, Class 3 and Class 9 are natural allies. That’s a huge advantage!’]
“In addition, I know the top fighters from Class 6 and Class 8, and unlike you, their personalities aren’t so devious and cunning.”
Yun Ruoxi added.
Viper was so stung by Yun Ruoxi’s words that her face turned black, but she didn’t dare lash out in front of her.
After all, Yun Ruoxi really would fight her—and would definitely win.
“Alright, if there are no objections, we’ll proceed with this strategy!”
Yun Ruoxi paused. “As for the specific arrangements, we can discuss them after gathering more intel. For now, besides leaving some top fighters to guard the base, the others can spread out and scout for information nearby.”
“After all, at the start of a war, no class would dare to go all out—especially with me guarding Class 9.”
“Understood!”
“Then this meeting is adjourned!”
Yun Ruoxi stood up and, taking Aili with her, left the room first, leaving the rest looking at each other in confusion.
[‘So cool! Sis Xi’s leadership aura is getting stronger!’]
[‘You’re calling her Sis Xi now—what will you call her when Lao Xi gets older?!’]
[‘My daughter Xi is growing up, with a mind and strength to match her age!’]
[‘Careful making up stories about Lao Xi, or she’ll crush your head with telekinesis!’]
[‘It’s only been two years—there’s no sign left of the shy little crybaby she used to be…’]
[‘Just throw a seriously injured Lin Zhen in front of her and see if she cries or not!’]
[‘You really know how to hit her weak spot.’]
“You were so cool just now, sis!”

In the corridor, Aili was like a little sparrow, chirping non-stop as she hopped beside Yun Ruoxi.
One moment she was on Yun Ruoxi’s left, then the next on her right.
“Xiao Ai, focus. We’re still in the middle of the assessment.”
Yun Ruoxi reminded her helplessly. She couldn’t help but reflect on whether she’d spoiled the girl too much.
As a result, Aili had become increasingly uninhibited in front of her, her girlish nature ever more apparent. Then again, girls this age should be lively like this.
“Got it!” Aili gave a playful salute, her eyes shining as she asked, “So are we going to take a ship out too, sis?”
“You, not we.”
Yun Ruoxi stopped walking.
“You’ll go with Gangmu and the others, get some experience outside. I have to stay at the base, just in case.”
“Eh—then can I not go?” Aili pouted and swayed in protest.
“No.” Yun Ruoxi put on a stern face.
“I’m staying to handle any emergencies. What can you do if you stay at the base?”
“And what can you do at the base?”
As she spoke, Yun Ruoxi pointed at her own collar.
This was a universal gesture among students, meaning “the instructors are watching.”
Aili immediately understood: her sister wanted her to do her best during the assessment.
Even so, she still didn’t want to part with Yun Ruoxi. She tugged at the hem of her shirt and mumbled softly, “I can protect you.”
“What can you protect me from?” Yun Ruoxi couldn’t help but laugh.
With a telekinetically formed finger, she flicked Aili on the forehead.
Then she lifted her into the air and spun her around several times, only putting her down when the girl begged for mercy.
“Hurry along now, don’t make me repeat myself. With your skills, you can’t even handle a single move from me.”
“Oh, alright.”
Dizzy and wobbling, Aili staggered forward—only to trip and fall with a ‘thud.’
Yun Ruoxi sighed and rubbed her forehead. She lifted Aili up with her telekinesis and watched as Aili turned to give her a silly grin.
Truly hopeless, this girl.
After sending her over to Gangmu and telling him to look after her, Yun Ruoxi watched as one ship after another departed from the Fleet Dock, then turned and headed back to the Central Control Room.
She called up the Star Map Interface.
On the pale blue three-dimensional projection, a hundred ships appeared around the space station,
spreading outward at a snail’s pace and steadily lighting up the map of this area.
It gave Yun Ruoxi a sudden feeling of playing an RTS game.
“Really… what a strange sense of déjà vu!”
Yun Ruoxi mused to herself, tapping on the projection of Gangmu’s ship.
At once, the tadpole-sized projection enlarged to fill the center of the star map.
The detail level of this holographic image was extremely high—likely a military version.
Yun Ruoxi rotated it.
She could even see the three tiny figures inside.
It was Gangmu, Hain, and Aili, who was pressed against the porthole, peering outside.
Now, if Yun Ruoxi wished, she could command in real time across tens of thousands of kilometers.
She could even pay homage to some legendary micromanagement master—making the ship’s cannons elevate by two degrees would be no problem at all.
