“My Pudding–“
Ye Wanqing was dragged away in utter despair by Su Mu in a classic ‘strong man locks a man’ pose.
Once she reverted to her form, her limbs once again began to move awkwardly.
“You’re already an adult, and you’re still thinking about pudding, pudding. Can’t you have a little more ambition?”
“Karamiti is only twelve! Karamiti has the right to enjoy pudding!”
Complaints were useless—Su Mu had already dragged her out to the main hall.
“You don’t have to do anything. You just need to stand here and keep smiling.”
Of course, Su Mu never planned to let Ye Wanqing fumble with these chores.
With her current temperament, it was better to have her stand here as a mascot.
As for herself, she soon had to prepare the magical omelet rice.
This so-called magic was completely different from the traditional magic found in other maid coffee shops.
Not only was it more embarrassing, it was also clearly mixed with some private touches.
“Stop shaking, I’m coming, I’m coming.”
Irritated by the harsh sound of the bell, a black line appeared between Su Mu’s brows.
She quickly picked up the omelet rice and hurried over.
“Your omelet rice is ready, Master. Please join me in casting the magic that will make it taste delicious.”
Su Mu took a deep breath, forcefully suppressing the shame inside her.
As she tried her best to squeeze out a smile, she recalled the “magic” that Tang Nai had mentioned.
“Soft and fluffy, pure and clean, miracle, magic, love…”
Her face grew increasingly red, her voice faded into a thin whisper, almost inaudible.
Her tongue got all twisted, and for a moment, she forgot the lines.
“I-I-I…” Su Mu stammered, trying to muddle through with a cutesy act.
While the customer did seem somewhat dazed by her adorable expression, Tang Nai was never one to let her off so easily.
“Hey, since you didn’t get it right, let me show you how it’s done.”
Tang Nai pushed Su Mu aside, then, wearing a pair of dead-fish eyes, started her performance.
“Delicious, soft and fluffy, miracle, magic, love, pour this magical feeling into the Magical Girl, and make this omelet rice taste better.”
Every word was enunciated with crystal clarity, as if a teacher were guiding a kindergarten class through a reading exercise, but her tone was completely flat.
Instantly, the awkward atmosphere was swept away.
Then, under Su Mu’s astonished gaze, a faint white light floated up from the customer who had finished reciting the chant, gathering in Tang Nai’s palm.
But that Pure Magic was extremely faint, nearly colorless.
If you didn’t focus, you would never notice it.
“All right, Master, your omelet rice is ready. Would you like some pancakes?”
At some point, the customer’s energy had significantly dropped.
The dark circles and heavy bags under his eyes became especially prominent.
“Thank you…” He spoke sluggishly, as if he’d just given blood, eyes dark and exhausted.
This gave Su Mu an intense feeling of déjà vu.
“Wh-What the heck is this?! I’m not doing this anymore, let me go!”
She barely took two steps before bumping right into Tang Nai’s forehead.
Her nose stung, so she had to stop and hold it.
“No.”
“Then tell me, what’s with that magic?”
“Relax, it just makes them sleepy for a while. A nap will fix everything.”
“Don’t you think this is kind of, kind of like…”
Seeing Su Mu gesturing in a panic, Tang Nai watched her playfully, as if waiting for Su Mu to say the word herself.
“Aiya, anyway, it’s just weird. I’m not doing this.”
“Sigh, some people really shouldn’t let their minds wander so much, okay? This is just normal magic collection. You can do it in dreams too.”
Hearing this, Su Mu’s cheeks flushed, and she coughed lightly twice.
But she had to admit, “some people” really did have their thoughts in the wrong place.
“I know you’ve been getting way too close with Lando lately, but I didn’t think you’d still be so immature, Su Mu. You should be more focused when you’re working. If you want to feel less embarrassed, just keep a poker face—like me.”
Su Mu glanced at Tang Nai, secretly complaining in her heart, ‘You’re the one with a real work attitude problem. You should be reported to the consumer association, you really should.’
“I think even Little Miti could do better than you. Come here, Little Miti.”
Tang Nai beckoned to Ye Wanqing, who was slumped against the wall in despair.
The latter immediately perked up and scampered over.
Earlier, Tang Nai had led her over to get fed by Rin, which made her quickly switch sides from Su Mu to Tang Nai.
It was obvious that Tang Nai understood how to handle little kids far better than Su Mu, who still treated Ye Wanqing as a peer.
“Go, do it just like I did, and serve that customer a plate. I’ll give you three puddings.”
“Five!”
Hearing Ye Wanqing’s lively voice, Tang Nai chuckled, “You can’t eat that many.”
“If I can’t eat them, I’ll take them home!”
“Fine, five. Now go, and remember to do it exactly as I did.”
Ye Wanqing grinned from ear to ear.
“Okay!”
Then Su Mu stared in shock as this silly bunny maid carried a plate of pudding from the kitchen at lightning speed, bolted straight to the table, and put it down before the customer could even ring the bell.
“Hello, please join me in casting magic to make the pudding taste even better.”
Customer: “?”
“Sweet and silky, soft and fluffy, miracle, magic, love, pour this magical feeling into the Magical Girl, and make this pudding taste better.”
“Even though I ordered omelet rice, thank you anyway. In that case, I’ll dig in—”
The next second, he watched Ye Wanqing dump all the puddings into her own mouth.
“? ? ?”
“Little Miti, he ordered omelet rice, but you did great. See that, Su Mu? That’s the enthusiasm real service should have.”
A wave of Pure Magic, far stronger than before, rose from the customer and flowed into Tang Nai’s pocket.
The latter’s complexion seemed to improve a bit.
Meanwhile, the poor, utterly bamboozled customer just sat there, cheeks sunken, eyes lifeless, staring blankly at Ye Wanqing.
You could tell at a glance he must’ve pulled an all-nighter just yesterday.
“Now, Su Mu, go bring him his omelet rice.”
Su Mu looked at the customer, who was completely out of commission, then at Tang Nai’s smiling face.
In the end, she couldn’t help but grumble: “This is a damn succubus coffee shop…”
‘What a pity. The customers didn’t even get decent service before they were completely drained, seriously.’
“He’s done for. Let’s move on to the next one.”
“Honestly, this isn’t even close to the limit.”
Tang Nai smiled devilishly, didn’t stop Su Mu from leaving, and helped clean up the aftermath while feeding Ye Wanqing.
Little Miti was indeed much cuter as a kid—so obedient, so well-behaved.

After a long, exhausting day, Su Mu lay motionless on her bed.
She had fallen into confusion, and this kind of confusion needed a strong, decisive way to break through.
