“Where is my Qingchan!”
A pair of large hands suddenly clamped around the girl’s fair and slender neck. The man shook her desperately, his voice tinged with violence and rage.
His Qingchan, his Qingchan.
His Ji Qingchan…
His junior Ji…
“Cough, cough… let… go… of me…” The girl’s face turned red, and she squeezed out a few words through clenched teeth.
“Where is my Qingchan!!”
Ji Yueni struggled to speak, but could only say in broken sentences, “Um… you… need to calm down…”
“Where is my Qingchan!!” the man roared, his eyes bloodshot, emotions out of control, clutching the girl’s jade neck with no intention of letting go, shaking her with all his strength!
“Give her back to me! Give her back to me!”
“Why don’t you have split personalities!! Why don’t you have split personalities!!”
“Where is my Qingchan!”
“Did you kill her?!”
“Ji Yueni, I’m going to kill you!”
The girl’s legs convulsed nonstop, her body twisted, breathing became rapid, and her small face flushed bright red from lack of oxygen. Her bound hands clawed wildly at the bedsheet, almost tearing it apart!
The man’s grip grew tighter, fiercer. The sound of the girl’s throat being squeezed issued a chilling creak.
His five fingers gripped like iron. In a state of extreme anger, Jiang Chi completely lost any shred of tenderness, as if he really intended to strangle her on the spot.
Gradually, the light in the girl’s eyes began to fade. The pain of her jade neck being strangled blurred into a strange pleasure under her mind’s desperate craving for release.
Her body responded unconsciously to the bizarre joy, the pleasure below her belly scattering through her body. Her waist arched then trembled, her legs first squeezed together, then twisted into strange, contorted, lust-filled postures.
The muscles at the nape of her neck contracted, her entire head tilted back, gasping hoarsely.
A most peculiar sensation surged within Ji Yueni’s body.
“Am I… about to die?”
Her emotions burst like veins splitting, regret, grievance, sorrow, and yet a strange happiness. Ji Yueni felt she was truly too aggrieved, too miserable.
All she did was deceive Jiang Chi’s feelings just a little. Did she really deserve this?
Her heart, sensing distress, pumped blood upward with all its might, but it was futile.
I’m going to die.
I’m going to die.
I’m going to die.
Though she didn’t want to die, being killed like this might actually be fine. She’d become such a mess; she had no idea how she’d face people, or her parents. If those gangsters found out, they’d probably laugh their heads off.
Maybe dying is good.
Maybe dying is good.
Maybe dying is good.
All sorts of memories flashed through her mind like a revolving lantern—her first time fighting hooligans, her first time secretly watching a forbidden movie, her first time… crossdressing.
Yes, crossdressing, dresses, frocks, skirts, short skirts, long skirts, princess dresses.
Sexy style, cute style, cool-girl style, sporty style, sexy playwear.
Mix-and-match, hip-hop, vintage, Bohemian, modernist, Victorian, gothic.
There were still so many styles of women’s clothing in the world she hadn’t tried. It was so unfair.
If people really do have another life, Ji Yueni really wanted to be a girl, to fully embrace her love for women’s clothing, no more hiding, able to wear it all out in the open…
…..
She didn’t know how long had passed before she regained a sliver of consciousness. Ji Yueni slowly opened her eyes to pure, dazzling white; everything looked blurred and hazy.
She never believed in gods, nor in the existence of heaven, yet the face that leaned in was tinged with melancholy, like an angel weeping.
In an instant, she was lost in a trance, instinctively moving closer, trying to see that face clearly. She smelled the angel’s warm, damp scent—a faint hint of tulip, carrying the freshness and fragrance after rain.
Warm droplets fell on the back of her hand. Ji Yueni trembled slightly, only then realizing her hand was tightly held by the other, that burning warmth almost scalding her…
“Qingchan, don’t die. I don’t want you to die.”
“I was wrong!”
“Qingchan, Qingchan…” Jiang Chi knelt on the floor, eyes closed, murmuring her name over and over, his voice thick with remorse and pain, laced with some unnamable emotion.
Behind him stood several young nurses holding electronic defibrillators, watching the pale-faced girl on the hospital bed with worried expressions.
“Jiang Chi.”
Suddenly, a faint voice sounded, weak and hoarse, as if drifting from afar.
Hearing the voice, Jiang Chi jerked his head up, wild joy flashing in his eyes. “Qingchan, you’re alright! Qingchan, are you hungry? Do you want to eat…”
“Jiang Chi.” Bai Su’s small hand gripped that restless big hand. Ji Yueni looked at the tear-stained man beside the bed and couldn’t help but want to laugh.
She gazed at him, her red lips trembling slightly.
“I’m sorry.”
His wild joy froze instantly, turning to utter blankness. Jiang Chi stared dully at the girl on the bed, disbelief flickering in his eyes.
“You’re not her.”
“You’re not Qingchan.”
“You’re not the girl I love.”
Like a madman, he stumbled backward, then staggered out of the room, ignoring the strange looks from the nurses inside, rushing to the end of the corridor, disappearing at last around the corner.
“What’s wrong with Mr. Jiang?”
The nurses exchanged confused glances, completely baffled by what had just happened.
“Um…”
At this moment, Ji Yueni’s voice sounded. She timidly raised her hand, “He might be sick. Ladies, could you do me a favor?”
“I’m sorry, Ms. Ji. Mr. Jiang left strict orders. Without his permission, we cannot let you leave the bed.”
“That’s not it.” Ji Yueni’s face turned slightly red.
“Ladies, could you help me change my pants? My pants… are wet.”
Feeling the large damp area along her thighs, the girl’s face grew even redder.
Damn it, this body is way too weird.
She was nearly strangled to death, yet… could she have some sort of pervert gene in her DNA?
The nurse didn’t refuse this request. As she brought over a pair of trousers and prepared to help Ji Yueni change, Ji Yueni stopped her.
“Um, miss nurse…” Ji Yueni licked her dry lips, eyes full of longing.
“Can you change it to a skirt instead?”
…..
“Two kitties~ Two kitties~ Meow like a cat! Meow like a cat! One likes grilled fish, one likes teacher, meow meow meow~ meow meow meow~~”
“Meow meow meow~ who is it?”
Just after finishing the Happy Cat Song, Yan Qing heard a knock at the door. As soon as she opened it, she saw the man standing outside.
“Eh? Brother Jiang, why are you here?”
