In the midst of everyone’s incredulous gazes, Lysieltine slowly said, “These are a sign of our sincerity…”
As she spoke, Lysieltine pointed to each Magic Weaponry device and introduced them: “This is a magic algorithmic array—its computing power leads the world. This is a Sixth-Rank Magic Missile. It can autonomously track and cruise toward its target. This is the Power Traction System for Magic Vehicle. Although it’s only a prototype, it can allow carriages to run independently without horses. This is a manned mechanical puppet, with a built-in cockpit. It can grant an ordinary person exceptional combat ability…”
Each piece of Magic Weaponry was a treasure of its era, a crystallization of magical technology.
Lysieltine had shown utmost sincerity to the Chengji Empire this time.
The surrounding experts in magical technology already found it incredible just by looking.
After listening to Lysieltine’s introduction, they were utterly astounded.
Luo Shangyu hadn’t expected Lysieltine to be this sincere either.
All the plans she’d prepared beforehand were now useless.
Just as Qin Yu predicted, Lysieltine was showing her full sincerity.
“Good!” Qin Yu looked at the things Lysieltine had brought—this had far exceeded her expectations.
“We shall work closely in magical technology and progress together!”
With Qin Yu’s declaration, the two countries officially established cooperation on the development of Magic Weaponry.
“So, shall we then…” Lysieltine inquired.
“Discuss the specific details of cooperation?” Qin Yu picked up the conversation, and the two spoke in unison.
They looked at each other and shared a smile, “Alright!”

Due to Lysieltine’s show of sincerity, the schedule for the day was temporarily changed.
Qin Yu decided to sign the agreement with Lysieltine first before displaying the Chengji Empire’s magical technology.
Everyone headed to the conference room of the Research Institute and took their seats in order.
Qin Yu and Luo Shangyu sat at the head of one side of the long table, followed by the leadership of the Research Institute, cabinet members, and Engineering Department officials.
On the opposite side sat Lysieltine and Saint Lumia, with not a single person behind them.
“You didn’t bring any attendants?” Qin Yu asked Lysieltine.
“Because I can make all decisions related to magical technology on my own.”
“You?”
“I’ve already finished studying ‘Introduction to Magical Technology’.” Lysieltine was brimming with confidence about her knowledge of Magic Weaponry.
“Uh…” Qin Yu was stunned.
She never expected Lysieltine to have actually finished reading ‘Introduction to Magical Technology’.
Just thinking about that thick and difficult book made Qin Yu feel nauseous.
“What about you?” Lysieltine asked Qin Yu in return.
“Me? Uh… Well…” Qin Yu was at a loss for words.
She’d always skipped class and slacked off—there was no way she’d finished ‘Introduction to Magical Technology’.
She hadn’t even finished reading the preface.
But as expected of Qin Yu, the only hard part of her was her mouth.
Qin Yu replied with a straight face, “As a princess, I handle affairs all day long. Where would I find time to study such things?”
Yin An, sitting at the table, raised his eyebrow and thought: ‘What does ‘handle affairs all day long’ mean? Is that just slacking off every day?’
Luo Shangyu covered her face and shook her head at those words; Lysieltine and Saint Lumia, very familiar with Qin Yu, knew she was just being stubborn.
Outwardly, they played along and feigned admiration.
The others, not knowing Qin Yu as well, were fooled by her words and appeared genuinely impressed by her diligent work ethic.
After this brief episode, the formal discussion began.
Qin Yu proposed, “Jointly sharing advanced magical technology,” and Lysieltine readily accepted.
“At the same time, we should jointly establish a Research Institute to bring together magical talent from both nations to focus on new projects,” Lysieltine added.
“But where should this Research Institute be built?” Qin Yu mused.
“That’s something for the officials responsible for magical technology research to discuss later. We only need to determine the general plan,” Luo Shangyu reminded Qin Yu.
“Oh, right.” Qin Yu signaled to Yin An, the cabinet’s chief minister, to quickly note down the key points of their discussion and record the meeting.
“We should also apply new magical technologies to production…” reminded Han Youcheng, the cabinet minister.
“Well said!” Qin Yu clapped.
“We should also work together to build Magic Weaponry factories and develop our production capacity to the leading level in the Realm of Illusions.”
“Increasing production capacity will require a great deal of magical talent support. We’ll need to further strengthen our talent training,” the Institute Director added.
“That’s true…” Lysieltine agreed.
“But our country’s Royal Magic Academy isn’t large enough…”
“That’s not a problem,” said the Engineering Department Official.
“Our Ji Xia Academy has a vast campus, enough enrollment and faculty positions. It can fully accommodate joint education requirements.”
“Doesn’t our Ji Xia Academy have a Magical Academy?” Qin Yu whispered to Luo Shangyu.
“I don’t know either. I just became regent and haven’t had time to thoroughly understand every institution in the empire,” Luo Shangyu shook her head slightly.
“No need to establish a joint school,” the always-silent Vice Chancellor of the Grand Secretariat, Shangguan Rong, spoke up.
“Ji Xia Academy already has a Magical Academy. The Holy Roppu Empire can send your magical technology instructors to join Ji Xia Academy and expand the teaching staff of the Magical Academy. Ji Xia Academy already has a mature magical technology education platform. If we follow my plan, the Magical Academy can recruit new students as early as next summer.”
“Excellent! It’s decided then!” Qin Yu made the call.
Qin Yu and Lysieltine signed their names on the meeting summary Yin An had just organized, formally affirming the achievements of this meeting.
Everyone had agreed on the general direction.
The specific details were left for tomorrow’s further discussion.
Now, it was Qin Yu’s turn to show Lysieltine the Chengji Empire’s magical technology.
Everyone left the lobby of the Research Institute’s main building and headed into the Institute’s courtyard.
First, they arrived at a three-story building labeled “Civilian Magic Devices.”
The Institute Director swiped a card to open the door and led everyone inside.
“This is where we research civilian Magic Weaponry. The carriage shock-absorption system that revolutionized the transportation industry was developed right here,” the director introduced proudly.
Inside the building, the prototype of the first carriage shock absorber was displayed in the lobby.
The shock absorber could sense the tilt angle by itself, autonomously calculate the required adjustment, and control the carriage’s posture to keep it balanced—effectively preventing rollovers and excessive jolting.
The director then led the group to a research room.
Full of anticipation, everyone passed through an iron door with a password lock and entered.
Among the visitors, only the Engineering Department Official knew what the National Magic Weaponry Research Institute was working on.
The others had no idea and were full of curiosity.
“This is our Magical Communicator.” The director walked over to a desk and picked up a flat, square box.
Qin Yu had heard a little about the Magical Communicator from Qin Ling before.
In Qin Yu’s mind, it was something like a mobile phone from her previous life.
The director fiddled with the Magical Communicator for a while, and soon, one side of the flat box lit up.
That was a screen.
As the director slid his finger across it, the display changed accordingly.
To everyone else, this was a miracle.
But in Qin Yu’s eyes, it was just a rough prototype.
The interface was terribly unoptimized, and being used to modern smartphones, Qin Yu couldn’t adapt to it at all.
According to the director, this Magical Communicator’s screen was powered by base-state magical energy driving optical materials to display images, complex logic was handled by a special Secret Magic Array, and special ore materials were used for magical resonance to transmit information.
Everyone listened in a fog, except for Lysieltine, who could barely keep up.
Qin Yu took the Magical Communicator, flipped it around a few times, and said, “You could improve this like this…”
Qin Yu merely referenced the interface design of modern smartphones from memory to propose improvements, but it left the director marveling.
“Wonderful, wonderful, absolutely brilliant!” The director nodded repeatedly.
“Your Highness, that makes perfect sense! I’ll write it down right away!”
Upon hearing the director’s praise, Yin An couldn’t help but look at Qin Yu in a new light.
He hadn’t expected Qin Yu to have such talent.
Luo Shangyu felt incredibly proud—her beloved really was that outstanding!
Lysieltine glared at Qin Yu: ‘What do you mean, you’ve never read ‘Introduction to Magical Technology’? Aren’t you just showing off?’
Qin Yu scratched her head and smiled awkwardly: ‘No helping it. As a transmigrator, I’m just this awesome! (ï¿£^ï¿£)’

Next, everyone visited the Magic Weaponry development zone.
They saw the army’s 155mm Caliber Field Cannon undergoing its final tests.
This field cannon used magical energy for automatic loading and could achieve a maximum firing rate of ten rounds per minute.
The only downside was that it still had to be pulled by horses to move.
“Can this be combined with the Power Traction System for Magic Vehicle?” Qin Yu asked the director.
The director replied awkwardly, “Well… Our research on Magic Vehicles is almost non-existent, so we haven’t considered it. But with the technology provided by Her Majesty of the Holy Roppu Empire, realizing your idea should only be a matter of time.”
Qin Yu spoke seriously, “We must conduct this experiment. If we can mount this cannon on a Magic Vehicle carriage and armor it with thick iron, it will be our army’s ultimate weapon for breaking through enemy lines. One could equal a hundred!”
“Uh…” The director began to seriously consider Qin Yu’s words.
Not long after, he jumped three feet high, shouting, “Genius! Genius! Absolutely genius!”
He danced around for a while before stopping and he said, “Your Highness, your idea has changed the course of Magic Weaponry development! You should name this weapon!”
“Then let’s call it a ‘Tank’,” Qin Yu said nonchalantly.
“Excellent! A ‘Tank’ it shall be! Your Highness, I’ll have a prototype produced within a year!” The director, having found a new research direction, was now extremely excited.
Qin Yu turned to Lysieltine, “Any of these technologies that catch your eye—just take them!”
“Alright.” Lysieltine didn’t stand on ceremony.
After all, it was an exchange—she’d given many advanced Magic Weaponry devices to the Chengji Empire too.
After leaving the field cannon lab, everyone returned to the courtyard of the Research Institute.
Led by the director, the group entered a Magic Elevator and descended underground.
At last, they arrived in front of a massive iron gate.
The gate was tightly shut, bearing a warning sign: “Confidential Area—No Admittance to Unauthorized Persons.”
‘What is this place?’
Everyone couldn’t help but wonder in their hearts.
The director approached the gate, and after passing through a series of complex verifications, the iron doors slowly parted to each side.
The gate was twenty meters wide, and its thickness was even greater than its width.
After passing through, everyone beheld the world within the doors…
