Inside the extended Bentley.
“Hee hee hee~ hahaha~”
The clear, melodious laughter filled the car, crisp and lovely like silver bells.
Mini Xu tried hard to cover her little mouth with both hands, but it was as if she were watching a hilarious comedy—no matter what, she just couldn’t hold back her laughter.
Zhao Yicheng frowned slightly, eyes still closed as he rested.
That “childish, stifled-with-laughter voice” sounded again.
“I think I can handle this by myself. How about… we go back?”
Mini Xu summoned her courage, yet still spoke timidly.
Zhao Yicheng cast a cold glance at the little one in his arms, and then…
Mini Xu immediately shrank back, curling up into a tiny ball, as if afraid Zhao Yicheng would scold her.
She was only 1.1 meters tall now, her height barely reaching Zhao Yicheng’s waist.
Just this tiny, in Zhao Yicheng’s arms, she looked like a human-shaped doll.
The man’s chin rested on the top of the young girl’s soft hair, his voice as calm as a placid lake: “Instead of wasting time, you’d better think about how to calm my anger afterwards.”
“Xu Yinsheng, have I been letting you live too comfortably lately?”
“Or are you asking for another punishment?”
“Dare to sneak out behind my back, I really want to break your legs.”
The man’s tone was flat, the words whispered right by Mini Xu’s ear.
Anyone else would have thought it was some lover’s secret talk.
But in Mini Xu’s ears, that low and hoarse voice sounded like a vengeful spirit crawling out from hell, with the harsh, grating sound of teeth gnashing above her head—enough to make her shiver!
Mini Xu shrank her neck and shook her head.
Zhao Yicheng was very angry right now (definitely!)
But there was something even more important to deal with, so for now, he set Mini Xu aside.
Later, even if she didn’t die, she’d shed a layer of skin.
“I’m still young, can’t you…”
“You’re already twenty-eight, not young at all.”
Zhao Yicheng ignored Mini Xu’s plea and cut her off directly.
Mini Xu silently closed her mouth.
Then, she saw Zhao Yicheng somehow pull out a heavy iron hammer from somewhere and knock it twice against her pale, slender calf.
“As an adult, you have to take responsibility for your actions.”
The icy chill from the hammer seeped through her pants and into her fair, delicate skin, making her shiver uncontrollably.
Zhao Yicheng lifted her chin with his hand, forcing her to look at him, his grip nearly crushing her jaw.
Within his deep, ink-black eyes flickered a bloodthirsty light.
Mini Xu was forced to meet that gaze, and her body trembled.
“Xu Yinsheng, I hope this is the last time. My patience with you is limited.”
“I can tolerate your pranks, your mischief, anything you do, but if you try to run, I’ll chase you for a lifetime, forever!”
Thud!
The iron hammer suddenly slipped from the man’s -marked hand, falling to the floor.
Zhao Yicheng instinctively held his forehead, the surge of emotions stabbing into his brain, bringing bursts of pain so sharp it felt as if his head might explode.
That pain was like being sliced with a knife, every cell in his body writhing in agony.
With shaking hands, he took out a medicine bottle from his inner pocket, but in his haste, the pills scattered all over the floor.
“Ah….”
The searing pain made him suck in a cold breath.
His whole body felt like it was being fried in a vat of oil.
Zhao Yicheng hurriedly grabbed a few pills and tossed them into his mouth, barely suppressing the pain.
As expected, with a mental illness, he couldn’t get too agitated.
He slowly opened his eyes. In his vision was a familiar face, and those clear, bright eyes.
He looked at the rigid figure in his arms, his expression complicated—he’d just had another attack.
“Sorry, I shouldn’t have snapped at you.”
Zhao Yicheng held Mini Xu, his big hand gently patting her back to comfort her, his tone gentle.
“I just… just got a bit too emotional, you know I’m mentally ill…”
“I was just a little angry, but I wouldn’t really break your legs, really, believe me.”
He coaxed patiently, persuading her softly, his tone so calm it was impossible to see any trace of anger from before.
Under his “loving comfort,” Mini Xu sat on Zhao Yicheng’s lap, not daring to move at all, just like a startled ostrich.

The group soon arrived at a rundown residential building.
Following Mini Xu’s directions, Zhao Yicheng had his bodyguards fish out the unconscious Li Yuan from a large dumpster.
The first thing Li Yuan did after waking was to report the situation, showing great professionalism.
Mini Xu glanced at the swollen bump on the back of his head and couldn’t help but feel a tinge of guilt.
Rescue Team Xu Yinsheng, member +1!
Following the address given by Chen Kedi, everyone quickly arrived at the underground parking lot of the residential building.
The lighting in the underground parking lot was dim and murky, with waves of chill permeating the air, sending chills down everyone’s spine.
Chen Kedi’s crew had been waiting here for quite some time, each with a gun tucked at the waist and a machete in hand, looking ready to attack at the slightest provocation!
The arrival of Zhao Yicheng’s group only pushed the atmosphere to the peak—gang members and bodyguards eyed each other warily, the air thick with gunpowder.
For a moment, it was a standoff with swords drawn and bows bent!
Mini Xu hid behind Zhao Yicheng, poking out her little head and curiously scanning the scene, her round cheeks full of wonder, her big eyes blinking rapidly.
This was a gangster meet-up scene—she’d only ever seen this kind of thing on TV.
“Oh, looks like our Lord Zhao is really playing things wild these days.”
Chen Kedi emerged from the crowd, noticing the little girl behind Zhao Yicheng, his grin sharp and mocking.
“Where’s the person?”
Zhao Yicheng asked coldly.
“Where’s the money?”
Chen Kedi shot back.
“Open it.”
Five bodyguards simultaneously opened their briefcases, revealing stacks of neatly arranged cash inside.
A sharp-looking young man from Chen Kedi’s side stepped forward, picked up a thick stack of crisp red hundred-yuan bills from the top, checked them, then waved the cash around twice in front of everyone.
“Chen-ge, it’s real!”
The young man checked every briefcase, confirming each one.
Once he was sure there was no problem, he reached out to take the briefcases, but was stopped by the bodyguards.
Zhao Yicheng looked at Chen Kedi, the meaning clear.
Chen Kedi pointed to a corridor on the side.
“End of the corridor, left-hand room. Your pet is in there.”
“Or maybe you want my guys to help bring her out for you?”
“No need.”
A clear, melodious female voice rang out from the other end of the corridor.
Everyone paused and turned toward the source of the voice.
Out of the dim corridor strode a woman, dragging two men who had been beaten so badly their faces were black and blue, blood trailing from their bodies and staining the floor—a shocking sight.
Xu Yinsheng tossed the two men at Chen Kedi’s feet.
Despite her delicate appearance, she radiated a power that stunned everyone present!
“Chen-ge, help, she’s a terminator!”
“Save me, save me, I’m the hope of future humanity!”
“No, don’t come over!!”
Li Ri and Song San were both disheveled, looking deranged as they rolled and crawled their way over, clutching at Chen Kedi’s legs and begging for mercy!
Chen Kedi squinted at Xu Yinsheng, inspecting her—clothes neat, expression normal, but no sign of a trained fighter anywhere.
He frowned and said coldly, “What did you do to them?” “Nothing much.” Xu Yinsheng shrugged.
“Is your smuggling gang’s recruitment standard always this low? All I did was tell them a sci-fi ghost story, and they got scared like this.”
“No!”
Li Ri clung to Chen Kedi’s leg, crying and sniffling, pointing a trembling finger at Xu Yinsheng.
“Don’t believe her! That woman isn’t human!”
“She’s the Ultimate Terminator! She’s T-10086!”
“Chen-ge, save me! I’m the future leader of humanity! Save me now, and I’ll make you my right-hand man in the future!!”
It was hard to imagine these two big, six-foot-tall men, reduced to this state by fright—tears streaming, snot all over their faces, just like delicate girls being bullied by street punks.
Everyone’s eyes fell on Xu Yinsheng.
Xu Yinsheng simply shrugged, looking completely innocent.
She was just a weak girl—what could she possibly do?
She’d only given them a little scare.
Admittedly, the degree of scare might have been just a teensy bit much.
That’s right, just a teensy bit…
