The location of the black cave is very hidden.
Its entrance is deep in the basement of the ancient castle.
The passages under the castle are interconnected.
Even Han Xia, who had been in there once, could not remember the route completely.
If it were not for the “Young Master” leading the way, Han Xia would have been lost long ago.
Soon, Han Xia followed the “young master” to the entrance of the black cave.
It was a pitch-black metal door, twenty meters high and fifteen meters wide.
On the door was carved a ferocious beast crawling on the ground, with a pair of scarlet eyes that seemed to be staring at the person in front of the door.
This was Han Xia’s second time in the black cave, but both times he had the illusion that his soul was being devoured when he saw the carvings on the door.
Under the metal gate, there is a side door less than two meters high.
Normally, the metal gate is not opened and one can only enter through the side door.
The “young master” stood in front of the metal gate and stared at the carvings on it.
After a moment, he turned and walked towards the side door.
The side door opened automatically when the “Young Master” approached.
A man in a black robe with gold thread came out from behind the door, holding a faint blue lantern and stood respectfully aside.
The “Young Master” brought Han Xia in through the side door.
The man in the black robe behind him silently closed the side door and hung an ancient copper lock with the same engraving of a strange beast on it.
Then he stood in front of the door holding the lantern and quietly watched the “Young Master” and Han Xia leave.
After entering the black cave, you will find it very eerie.
There is a strange sweet and fishy smell in the air, and you can faintly hear the sound of wet objects crawling.
Han Xia saw a pair of red eyes staring at him in the darkness, but the owners of these eyes did not attack him.
Instead, they quietly retreated after they passed by.
Han Xia had seen the hideous appearance of those monsters last time, but this time the “young master” did not bring a lantern, so Han Xia had no chance to witness the appearance of those monsters again.
The route that “Young Master” was walking was a straight line.
The road had a slight slope and tilted downward.
After walking for half an hour, a bright light appeared in front of them.
After walking for another ten minutes, they came to the location of the light.
It was a round stone slab emitting a milky white fluorescent light.
The radius of the stone slab was five meters, and there were flowers engraved on it that Han Xia did not recognize.
After “Young Master” and Han Xia stood on the stone slab, the stone slab trembled slightly and then fell down.
The slight feeling of weightlessness made Han Xia feel that the horizontal altitude of his position was constantly decreasing.
After three minutes, the stone slab stopped.
Ahead is a bright space.
There was a sphere emitting strong light on the high dome.
In the air, there were hundreds of special stone cages, each of which held a creature that Han Xia did not recognize.
The “Young Master” raised his head and looked around, then with a wave of his hand, a birdcage-like cage fell down.
The “Young Master” reached out to take the cage, took a look at it, and threw it back.
Han Xia hurriedly reached out to take it, and then found that the cage was very light, even weightless.
“I’ll give you three minutes.”
After saying that, the “Young Master” continued to walk forward, ignoring Han Xia behind him.
Han Xia held the birdcage and looked inside.
A small figure was sitting on the bracket with his knees hugged.
“Why, have you finally figured out how to punish me?”
She was wearing a purple and black pleated long skirt with white lace.
The front of the skirt was shorter, only reaching half of her thighs, and the back fell to the ground.
The pattern on the skirt was like a starry sky dotted with countless tiny and dense light spots.
She was wearing black over-the-knee socks with a sock ring with white lace edges on her fair thighs, and high-heeled purple round-toed leather shoes with a light yellow bow on the shoes.
Her long black hair fell to her waist.
Her face was very delicate and her black eyes were full of indifference.
If one ignored the birdcage that imprisoned her and only looked at her appearance, she seemed like a noble lady.
The arrogant and disdainful smile on her face reminded Han Xia of Mia.
Although she was a prisoner, she exuded an aura as if she was the master here.
Quietly looking at this “bird in a cage”, Han Xia felt a little sympathy for some reason: “It would be better if you were not my companion spirit.”
“Is this your pity?”
She crossed her legs, folded her arms across her chest, and raised her chin high: “If so, please take back your meaningless sympathy. I don’t need it.”
“If you think so, then it is.”
Han Xia sat cross-legged on the cold ground and put the bird cage on the ground.
This way, Han Xia could look down at the other party instead of holding the bird cage.
“This kind of psychological suggestion of status has no effect on me.”
She tapped her forehead: “I have all your memories and knowledge.”
“Time is running out, and I don’t want to waste it changing your mind.”
Han Xia took out the medicine bottle and crystal dagger from his pocket and placed them on the ground: “I have two things here.”
Han Xia’s companion spirit narrowed its eyes: “Poison and dagger?”
“If you drink this potion, you will completely obey me. Although companion spirits must obey the host, you can pretend to obey but secretly disobey. But after drinking this potion, you will become a puppet in my hands.”
Han Xia pushed the potion forward.
“You’re dreaming!”
The girl no longer sat in that relaxed posture.
She stood up directly, with a storm brewing in her dark eyes.
Han Xia ignored the girl and continued to point at the dagger: “Another choice, I will kill you with this dagger…In this way, I will give birth to a brand new companion spirit.”
The girl closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
When she opened them again, her eyes returned to calm: “Kill me.”
“Is there no room for us to ease the situation? When it comes down to it, you were the one who wronged me first, weren’t you?”
Han Xia clenched his fists.
“You’ve always wanted to escape from that boy’s control, but life is more important to you. But for me, freedom is more important than life.”
The girl raised her head stubbornly and looked at Han Xia: “You’re worried about me being by your side, right? Then kill me.”
“Three minutes are up.”
The “young master” had walked to Han Xia’s side without knowing when.
He bent down and picked up the crystal dagger: “It seems that you have already discussed it. In that case, then die here.”
As soon as he finished speaking, the crystal dagger in the “Young Master’s” hand suddenly stabbed towards the companion spirit in the birdcage.
Han Xia’s heart skipped a beat.
He didn’t confront her just to kill his companion spirit.
In the worst case scenario, Han Xia’s only choice would be to use that bottle of medicine.
Who would have thought that the “Young Master” would suddenly intervene!
Han Xia hurriedly stretched out his hands to stop him, but the “Young Master” showed no mercy.
The crystal dagger directly pierced through Han Xia’s crossed hands that were raised to stop him, and went out from the back of his hands!
The “Master” pulled out the dagger suddenly, blood splattered on the ground, and he raised the dagger to Han Xia’s throat: “I said, I will only give you three minutes. Do you want to die?”
The “Young Master” was angry.
Han Xia could see it.
He had often seen the “Young Master” getting angry for all kinds of inexplicable things before.
Now it was the same.
The “Young Master” was angry because he did not make a choice within the specified time!
“What’s the point of keeping a piece of trash like this?”
The “Young Master” moved the dagger in his hand forward half a finger, and the sharp dagger instantly cut the skin on Han Xia’s throat.
Hearing the “Young Master” call him a waste, the companion spirit clenched his fists and was about to refute, but heard Han Xia’s slightly hoarse voice.
“I just don’t want to…forget some precious memories…” This was the second time Han Xia cried in front of him.
The first time was after he told Han Xia that the little beggar was dead.
Han Xia’s crying made him upset at that time.
The second time was now.
Han Xia was saying incomprehensible words with a lonely smile and tears on his face.
The “Young Master” felt very upset in his chest.
“Crack!”
The “Young Master” crushed the dagger in his hand, kicked over the medicine bottle on the ground, grabbed the birdcage and smashed it on Han Xia.
“Get out! Get out! Get out!”
Han Xia hurriedly ran out holding the birdcage.
