“So, what do you want to do?” Lilian calmly looked at the Demon Dragon before her.
Her earlier words had essentially confirmed her identity as Iana, since only she and Iana knew about the plan to win over Ethelrina.
“Of course, of course it’s…”
Iana faltered for a moment, unsure of what she could do right now to help Lilian in the competition for Ethelrina’s favor.
After a brief silence, Iana concealed the demonic aura emanating from her body.
This wasn’t to hide from Lilian.
After the earlier events, Iana knew Lilian had already recognized her true identity.
There was no point in pretending any longer.
Since Lilian could still speak calmly with her, she must have already accepted who Iana was.
The only reason Iana was hiding her aura was for one thing—she intended to take Lilian to Veronica’s birthday party.
If she could no longer let Lilian have Ethelrina all to herself, then she wouldn’t allow Veronica to have Ethelrina alone either.
The best possible outcome now was to bring Lilian to Veronica’s birthday and compete with her there for Ethelrina.
“Do you remember where I put the dress I sewed for you?” Iana asked.
“Why are you bringing that up?”
“To have you wear it, then go find Ethelrina.” Iana’s eyes flickered with an expression of frustration at Lilian’s seeming lack of urgency.
“Is that so?”
Lilian’s expression remained calm.
If this had been before, any mention of Ethelrina would have made her excited.
But now, she seemed somewhat indifferent.
She didn’t understand why—she felt strangely different.
“What are you waiting for? Hurry up.” Iana urged as Lilian stood dazed.
“Oh, alright.”
At Iana’s words, Lilian obediently went to her room and retrieved the dress Iana had previously sewn.
The fragments of crystal embedded by Iana still sparkled dazzlingly on it.
“Hmm, not bad. I believe with this dress, you won’t be overshadowed by Veronica.” Iana nodded in satisfaction.
“Come, I’ll help you put it on.”
Because of the complexity of the dress, it was hard to put on alone; usually, one needed help.
Only Iana and Lilian were here, and as the dress’s maker, it was effortless for Iana to dress Lilian.
Before Lilian could say anything, Iana began removing her clothes and skillfully helped her into the dress.
Unnoticed by Iana, Lilian’s cheeks flushed slightly, warming with a subtle blush.
It was a side of Lilian she had never shown when facing Iana before.
Soon, Iana finished dressing Lilian and walked around her, clearly pleased with how she looked.
“Now, shall we go?”
“Wait a moment, I’ll put on a light makeup for you first.”
Iana pulled out some cosmetics from somewhere and lightly applied makeup to Lilian’s already beautiful face.
Since Lilian was naturally beautiful, Iana refrained from applying heavy makeup that would spoil her natural charm.
“All done, now come with me.”
Iana took Lilian’s hand and led her toward Veronica’s villa.
Because they both lived in the same villa area, their houses were quite close.
Plus, Iana had previously worked as Veronica’s housekeeper and was familiar with the villa’s location.
It was still morning, but the area around Veronica’s villa was already swarming with people—packed shoulder to shoulder, leaving no gaps.
“Uh, what’s going on here?” Iana was taken aback by the scene.
She knew Veronica’s birthday had never been this crowded before.
The reason was simple—previously, Iana had meticulously arranged security measures to prevent anyone from getting close to Veronica on her birthday.
“Is everyone around Veronica just a bunch of worthless drunks? They can’t even handle something so simple.” Iana was angry at the chaotic scene.
Of course, her anger wasn’t because the party was disturbed, but because with this crowd, there was no way she could sneak Lilian inside.
“Saintess, please let me in to see her!”
“Do you think you’re worthy to see the Saintess’s chambers?”
“Honestly, just being here to spend the Saintess’s birthday with her is enough for me.”
“So frustrating.” Iana looked at the scene helplessly.
At that moment, a daring plan formed in her mind—so bold that it scared her to think about the consequences.
Finally, she clenched her teeth and made up her mind: “Let’s do it.”
After all, if Lilian failed to win over Ethelrina, she would be burdened with a debt of Three Thousand Gold Coins—something Iana absolutely couldn’t tolerate.
Iana turned to Lilian and said, “Wait here. I’ll be back soon.”
Before Lilian could respond, Iana headed off into the distance.
Once she reached a very secluded spot and confirmed no one was around, she put on a mask to cover her face.
In an instant, her demonic aura flared again.
Dragon horns and a tail sprouted.
With her bloodline power further awakened, Iana had now taken on the form of a young dragon.
Her crimson eyes shimmered with a strange light, and the jet-black wings behind her added an air of mystery.
Though masked, nothing could conceal her beauty—or the exquisite figure outlined beneath her school uniform.
Yes, what she was about to do was to let everyone present feel the overwhelming demonic energy radiating from her and flee in terror.
After all, as humanity’s greatest enemy, most normal people would run away and seek help when faced with Demons.
At worst, if someone dared to attack her, she could still run.
If caught, she wouldn’t deal with it on her own—she’d hand herself over to Dean Isabella for handling.
Given her relationship with Dean Isabella, Iana was confident she wouldn’t face any serious punishment.
“Heh heh heh.”
“I really am a genius.”
Inside Veronica’s villa, a girl wearing a silver-white wolf dress with a regal figure sat opposite Veronica.
“Thank you for coming to my birthday party, Ethelrina.”
“It’s my duty,” Ethelrina replied.
But as Ethelrina answered Veronica, she sensed an unusual surge of energy from outside.
“Are there Demons here?”
