Facing Miss Aier’s protests, Miss Latia simply shrugged innocently. “Eh~ But I really did clean up for quite a while back then, didn’t I?”
Aier: “That’s just because the coffee was too bitter and it sprayed out. Besides, it wasn’t even me—it was Miss Donna who spit it out.”
Mary: “Hey~~~ So the last time you were hanging out with that rude girl, huh, junior?”
Gulp! She’d let something slip!
Aier was about to cry from how stupid she was.
o(>﹏<)o No, please.
Just as Aier’s face flushed red and she didn’t know what to do…
The wooden door of the shop was pushed open.
The wind chime dutifully rang a crisp sound, alerting everyone that someone had arrived.
The three looked toward the sound and saw a petite girl with twin ponytails, dressed in the Academy’s pure white uniform, bursting in like she carried her own sunlight effect.
Her figure was small and her steps light and brisk, bouncing in and instantly brightening the slightly dim coffee shop.
“Eh, the shop’s so lively today?”
Miss Donna’s orange eyes curiously scanned the room, but upon recognizing who was sitting inside, she immediately shouted.
“Huh? Aier? Wait, why are you with this woman!”
“Yo~ Little Donna’s here too~”
Miss Latia greeted Donna casually, acting as if nothing was wrong.
When Donna’s voice rang out, Mary’s gaze instantly flicked over.
Aier felt her head growing even bigger.
Her situation was already extremely awkward, and now there was Donna to add to the mix!
Enemies meeting always meant extra tension.
The two had caused a scene at the Academy before, almost making Aier a famous figure right at the start of the semester.
Now, with these foes squeezed into a tight space, Aier felt like crying.
Meanwhile, Miss Latia watched the glare exchange between Donna and Mary with keen interest.
Crackling sparks seemed to fly between the two girls.
“Aier, why are you here with this woman?” Donna stepped forward quickly.
Mary casually pointed at the two cake boxes on the table. “She just invited my Aier to have some simple desserts. This really isn’t your business, Third Miss of the Family of Teluowei Si.”
The mention of her title instantly ruffled Donna’s feathers.
She slammed the table angrily. “What do you mean, ‘your Aier’? Aier isn’t anyone’s possession!”
With that, she plopped down on the other side of Aier.
Once again, Aier found herself sandwiched in the middle.
Mary immediately darkened her expression. “Miss Teluowei Si, I didn’t invite you to join us. Could you please sit somewhere else?”
“None of your business. This shop isn’t yours either. I’ll sit wherever I want!”
As if to prove she was closer to Aier, Donna scooted even nearer to her, closer than Mary was.
The tension thickened instantly.
The atmosphere became visibly strained, and Aier, caught between these two mountains, was sweating profusely.
“Putting that aside, Little Donna, what do you want to drink today? The same as last time when you and Little Aier came together?” Miss Latia, like a mischief maker, happily stirred the pot.
Aier felt like she was about to die.
Miss Latia, please don’t fan the flames!
We’re in your shop, after all!
Aren’t you afraid that these two firecrackers might blow up your place?!
Surrounded by these three “mountains,” Aier felt so small she dared not utter a word.
But Miss Latia carried on her own way. “Little Donna, don’t make me clean up again for half a day, okay?”
“Huh? Clean up half a day? What are you talking about?”
Donna blinked her big golden-orange eyes, acting clueless.
“Oh~ It’s just that last time when you came, you insisted on showing off to Little Aier and ended up spraying the front desk all over.”
“Well, well, that was my first time… Isn’t it normal to be a bit unprepared?”
The two were having a cross-dimensional exchange that made for some quite outrageous remarks.
Miss Latia deliberately teased, and Donna, the innocent one, kept flooring the accelerator.
“Oh? So, junior, you all had such a wild time last visit?” Mary knew the truth but happily added fuel to the fire, “But I’m different. I’m very good at savoring. If you come with me, I’ll make sure you have the best experience.”
Mary silently held Aier’s hand.
Aier twitched at the corner of her mouth.
If Lady Xie Yier kills her someday, these two will definitely bear the main responsibility!
The three little ones chirped and fluttered; the coffee shop seemed full of a joyful atmosphere… or maybe only Miss Latia found it joyful and fun.
In the end, Donna ordered a latte as well.
Miss Latia said, “Alright~ Three lattes coming right up~”
Aier: ???
Wait, why three cups? She hadn’t ordered anything herself.
But Miss Latia only chuckled lightly before explaining, “Consider it a little return for the show you just put on. This latte’s on me.”
She smiled with stunning charm, but Aier’s back chilled.
Aier: “…”
This Miss Latia is definitely an S!
Honestly, Aier was starting to develop a bit of PTSD from coffee—especially after being punished by Lady Xie Yier to drink so much last time. She really didn’t want to touch it anymore.
And these cakes were just hot potatoes; Aier was pondering how to handle her current situation to stay safe.
As long as she didn’t drink coffee or eat cake, maybe Lady Xie Yier would be a bit more lenient.
While waiting for the coffee, Aier, curled up on the sofa, sneaked a glance at Donna beside her.
Donna was staring longingly at the two cake boxes on the table; her eyes sparkled like bulbs—clearly craving them badly.
Aier suddenly had a bright idea!
“Donna, how about you have my cake?”
Aier offered the cake as a gesture of goodwill, pushing it toward Donna.
Donna was obviously tempted; her eyes lit up instantly.
But after the gleam, she turned her head away and lifted her chin haughtily.
“Hmph! Although I don’t care at all, if you insist on sharing, I suppose I can accept.”
Aier: “…”
(꒪⌓꒪)
Every time she saw Donna act tsundere, Aier felt an irresistible urge to roast her.
But fine, at least she had successfully passed the cake on. As long as she didn’t eat it, she’d be safe, and she had made her stance clear.
“But if you do that, junior, wouldn’t you be…” Mary frowned.
“It’s okay, I actually don’t—”
Before Aier could finish, Mary put a finger on Aier’s lips, stopping her.
“That’s not the answer senior wants~”
Cake was irrelevant. What mattered was getting Aier to be infatuated with her!
Mary scooped a piece from her own cake and brought it to Aier’s lips.
“Just share senior’s piece, that’s all~ Here, ah—”
Mary propped up the spoon lightly, leaning closer to Aier.
Not only did Mary’s rose perfume waft over, but from her slightly parted lips came a faint honey-like sweetness.
Mary’s eyes were dreamy, her breath soft and fragrant, and the unbuttoned part of her blouse revealed her powerful assets.
“I, I…”
Aier hadn’t expected Mary to use such an offensive move; the visual impact stunned her.
More importantly, she had just found a reason to give away the cake. Please don’t make her eat it!
“Hey! You’re way too close! Now I can even smell your cheap perfume!”
Fortunately, Donna intervened.
“Then move away!” Mary shot Donna a glare with her emerald eyes.
“Isn’t it just because you’re worried Aier will be hungry? I’ll feed her too! Aier, eat mine!”
Donna refused to be outdone, grabbed the spoon next to Aier’s cake, scooped a large piece, and shoved it toward Aier’s mouth.
She even defiantly pushed Mary’s spoon aside.
Donna’s figure was a bit stronger than Aier’s, but compared to Mary, she was at a disadvantage.
Still, when she leaned in, Aier inexplicably felt like sunlight was shining on her.
Combined with her usual fruity scent, Aier felt as if she’d wandered into an orange grove.
“In any case, you two, don’t get too excited…” Aier calmed herself and advised, “I’m really full. You can just eat it yourselves…”
At that moment, a clear voice with a distinct chill interrupted:
“Little Aier, looks like you’re having quite the good time.”
