Late at night, on a secluded path within Oselenka Academy, a white-haired figure stumbled forward in a desperate sprint.
Moonlight occasionally pierced through the clouds, illuminating her pale face and those terrified red eyes.
“Over there! The Blood Clan is running that way!”
“Hurry! Surround her! Don’t let her escape again!”
The urgent footsteps and shouts of the patrol team sounded like a death knell, closing in tightly behind Mia.
She dared not look back, relying solely on her familiarity with the terrain and the Blood Clan’s slight advantage in night vision to hide and dodge in the pitch-black darkness.
Her heart pounded so violently it felt like it might burst.
No… I can’t be caught… I have to survive…
However, the prolonged escape and extreme tension had drained much of her strength.
Her legs felt as heavy as if filled with lead, and her breath grew as rapid as a bellows, each step increasingly arduous.
Yet the footsteps behind her drew ever closer, and the glow of fire and magic faintly illuminated the path behind her.
What should I do? At this rate… it’s really over…
Just as despair seeped into every fiber of Mia’s body like icy water, her gaze suddenly caught sight of a familiar solitary villa not far ahead.
Standing beneath it was a small figure.
Teacher Sefina?!
Mia’s heart clenched sharply!
The patrol was about to catch up. If she didn’t find a place to hide now, it would be the end.
Should she seek help from Teacher Sefina?
But… but she’s Blood Clan! Would the teacher… help a non-human outcast?
What if the teacher despised the Blood Clan and handed her over to the patrol…
Listening to the nearly immediate footsteps of the pursuers, Mia’s heart was torn by extreme struggle and fear.

In the end, the instinct to survive overpowered everything.
She had to gamble! She could only hope the teacher would show mercy!
With her last ounce of resolve, Mia threw herself forward, stumbling toward the figure standing in the moonlight.
Sefina obviously noticed the sudden approach of the white-haired Blood Clan girl.
A flicker of surprise and caution flashed through her wine-red eyes.
Instinctively, she raised her staff, cold magical power gathering as she prepared to intercept this unknown intruder.
However, the next second—
“Teacher Sefina!” The Blood Clan girl cried out in a familiar voice, trembling with sobs!
Teacher? She called me teacher?
Sefina’s movement froze instantly, doubt surging to its peak.
“Teacher… I… I’m Mia!”
The Blood Clan girl collapsed weakly before her, dropping to her knees and clutching Sefina’s calf with cold, trembling hands.
She tilted her pale face upward, tears swirling in her crimson eyes.
“Please… save me! They… they’re going to capture me… I don’t want to die…”
Sefina was utterly shocked!
This Blood Clan girl, hunted by the entire school and ordered for elimination by the deputy officer…
Turned out to be the same student Mia, who always smiled and begged her for snacks!
The enormous shock left Sefina rooted to the spot, her heart torn by intense conflict.
Save her? Or not?
Saving her meant deceiving the patrol and harboring a dangerous individual with a sensitive identity.
If exposed, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Not saving her… could she really watch her student be taken away… or worse?
“Teacher Sefina… please… save me… I really don’t want to die…”
Mia’s pleading and sobbing pierced Sefina’s ears like needles and struck a soft spot deep within her heart.
Looking into Mia’s eyes filled with fear and despair, Sefina finally relented.
She bit her lip and made a swift decision.
Grabbing the weak Mia from the ground, she spoke hurriedly and in a low voice:
“Quick! Come inside and hide! I told you not to come out!”
“Okay! Thank you, teacher! Thank you!”
Clutching the lifeline she had grasped, Mia nodded heavily and used her last strength to dart into Sefina’s villa, curling up silently behind the living room sofa, barely daring to breathe.
Almost simultaneously, the patrol appeared at the end of the path.
“Teacher Sefina,” the patrol captain recognized her and stopped, saluting with urgency in his tone.
“Did you see a white-haired Blood Clan girl running this way just now?”
Sefina’s face returned to its usual coldness as she pointed toward the darker garden deeper inside.
“A white figure sped past in that direction. I couldn’t stop her.”
“Thank you for the information!” The captain trusted her and immediately led his team in pursuit of the direction she indicated.
The sound of their footsteps quickly faded away.
Only after the patrol vanished into the night did Sefina exhale slowly, turning to open the door and return inside.
Mia was still hiding behind the sofa, trembling slightly.
Sefina approached, crouched down, and gently stroked her soft white hair, her voice softening considerably:
“It’s alright now. They’re gone. You’re safe—for the moment.”
The overwhelming relief and sense of safety washed over Mia instantly.
She suddenly burst out, clutching Sefina tightly and burying her face in her embrace, voice choked with gratitude:
“Thank you… thank you, Teacher Sefina… I really… don’t know how to thank you enough…”
Sefina let her cling for a moment, then gently patted her back.
“It’s nothing. Get up first. Drink something to calm down. You’re freezing all over.”
She stood and went to the kitchen, quickly returning with a steaming cup of coffee, which she handed to Mia.
“Drink this. Warm yourself.”
Mia gratefully accepted the cup.
The warmth seeping through it slowly revived feeling in her cold fingers.
She carefully blew on the surface, then took a small sip.
The coffee tasted good, bitter with a subtle sweetness, sliding down her throat and spreading a comforting warmth.
Teacher’s coffee is really good, and… so warm…
So warm… that she almost felt… hot?
“Teacher…” Mia suddenly felt something was wrong.
She put down the cup and instinctively fanned herself.
“I… I don’t know why… but I suddenly feel kind of hot…”
Her cheeks flushed an unnatural red, her body burning as if ignited from within.
This feeling… this strange, restless heat…
But when she looked up at Sefina, she was stunned.
The warm, caring expression on Teacher Sefina’s face had vanished, replaced by a sly smile and cold eyes that plunged Mia into an icy abyss.
“Teacher… you…”
Alarm bells rang loudly in Mia’s heart as a wave of overwhelming fear swept through her.
Sefina tilted her head slightly, a wicked smile playing on her lips.
“Hmm, looks like it’s taking effect, Mia.”
Her voice remained gentle but carried a chilling coldness.
“Teacher, you… you put something in the coffee…”
Mia suddenly realized what had happened and tried to struggle to stand, but her limbs weakened, the heat intensifying, clouding her thoughts.
“Hmph,” Sefina sneered, stepping closer to the slumped Mia, looking down at her.
“I’ve helped you so much, even deceived the patrol to save you.
Mia, don’t you think it’s time to ‘repay’ your teacher?”
“Re… repay?” Mia’s mind was a jumble of confusion from the drug and sudden turn of events.
Sefina bent down, her cold fingers gently lifting Mia’s chin to force her increasingly dazed crimson eyes to meet her icy wine-red pupils.
Her tone was filled with cruel mockery and dominance.
“I happen to be looking for a obedient little pet to play with… or maybe… a slave? What do you think?”
“Pet?! Slave?!” Mia’s eyes widened in terror, her whole body trembling violently.
This woman radiating danger and speaking so foully—could she really be the Teacher Sefina who appeared strict but was kind and had just saved her?
It was as if she had turned into a thoroughly wicked, unforgivable villainess!
Sefina’s fingers slowly slid down Mia’s burning neck, sending a shiver through her.
Her voice turned cold and commanding.
“Mia,” Sefina whispered by her ear like a demon’s hiss.
“Take off your clothes. Pets don’t need such cumbersome garments.”
“Teacher… no… please…”
