Tang Cheng couldn’t help but feel a bit helpless, and his tone immediately grew firmer. “If you don’t open the door soon, I’m really going to kick it down!”
“Kick… the door?” Tang Wanyue’s terrified voice suddenly retreated quite a bit from inside the room. After a moment of silence, she hesitated and then said, “You… you have to answer a question for me first, then I’ll open the door…”
“More questions?” Tang Wanyue still seemed to have a strong sense of suspicion. Tang Cheng frowned slightly. “Fine, ask away.”
“Are you… after something from me?” Her voice was hesitant and cautious, filled with wariness.
“After something?” Tang Cheng was a little surprised, not understanding why she would ask that, but he didn’t press further. “What do you mean by that?”
“Just… just…” Tang Wanyue was inside the room, but couldn’t bring herself to say it. After a long silence, she almost bit her teeth and whispered, “You’re after my… body. You men…!”
Her voice was filled with genuine fear.
“So that’s what you mean…” Tang Cheng finally understood. Tang Wanyue was indeed a stunning beauty, and she carried an aura that made people feel at ease. She was the student council goddess everyone admired at the academy.
But Tang Cheng replied calmly, “Not interested. What’s there to be interested in with your washboard body?”
Tang Wanyue did have a chest, but he said she was flat-chested!
“You… you!” Inside the room, Tang Wanyue immediately looked down at her chest, speechless. Apparently, this was considered a washboard? She grew a little angry but didn’t know why. “Hmph, don’t expect me to open the door!”
“Hey… then I am interested, I am interested!” Tang Cheng stifled a laugh and quickly corrected himself.
Hearing Tang Cheng’s laughter outside, Tang Wanyue bit her red lips, blushing. “Hmph, I’m not opening the door!”
Still, she had a faint feeling that Tang Cheng was different from those other guys. If he was really a bad person, she would have already fallen into some trap during the many opportunities before…
“Sigh, whatever. I’m going to kick the door down!”
Tang Cheng lost patience. Just standing outside the door wasn’t a solution.
“No, don’t!”
Suddenly, with a loud “clang,” using the power that had mutated from infection, Tang Cheng easily tore the entire door off its hinges and strode straight into the kitchen.
Inside, Tang Wanyue’s face was pale with fear as she crouched under a long kitchen table. When she saw Tang Cheng kick down the door, she immediately crawled further toward the back of the kitchen, panic written all over her face.
“Ah! No… don’t eat me!”
Seeing Tang Cheng’s horrifying scarred left face, she mistook him for one of those zombies from the corridor. Her once pure and beautiful face was now filled with terror. She hid under the table in a panic, but somehow still looked a bit adorable.
“Sigh, still think I’m a zombie, huh?”
Tang Cheng looked helpless but then gave a ghostly smile.
“Well then, today I’ll let you see how terrifying a zombie really is!”
He stepped quickly closer to Tang Wanyue. She was already deathly pale, trembling under the table.
“Sigh, if I really were a zombie, of course I’d be after a body as delicious as yours!”
Before he finished speaking, Tang Cheng grabbed Tang Wanyue from under the table and turned to leave the kitchen. Tang Wanyue struggled in fear; her slender white legs kicked against Tang Cheng’s chest, but it didn’t faze him at all.
“Ah! You… what do you want to do to me? Let me go! Beast! Pervert! Zombie!”
Tang Wanyue, terrified and embarrassed, clung to Tang Cheng’s shoulder. Tears welled up in her pure eyes. It was clear she was deeply afraid of Tang Cheng’s left face, which looked exactly like a zombie’s.
