Ivy stared up at the deep blue sky, breathing in the scent of flowers, grass, and trees.
This was the first time since she had arrived in this world that she had left the Blood Clan’s territory.
Although she didn’t know where Floxie was taking her, there was no use resisting. She might as well enjoy the fresh air.
Ivy glanced at Floxie beside her, feeling her face flush once again.
Every time she saw Floxie now, she involuntarily recalled the sensation of Floxie biting her ear.
That feeling was both painful and itchy, extremely uncomfortable. In theory, Ivy should be terrified of it.
But in reality, although she was afraid, she also secretly wanted Floxie to bite her ear again.
This strange, conflicting feeling made Ivy blush deeply.
She couldn’t possibly have some weird fetish, could she?
No, it must be Floxie’s fault. There’s no way it’s me.
Ivy cursed silently in her heart, blaming Floxie for making her feel so strange.
Floxie held Ivy’s hand firmly, and Ivy had no idea where they were headed, so she just looked around aimlessly.
She felt the way they were holding hands was a bit odd—like…
An adult holding a child’s hand.
But actually, that wasn’t wrong at all.
Floxie was of the Blood Clan.
Blood Clan members lived outrageously long lives.
A prince like Floxie had clearly lived for at least a few hundred years, maybe even longer—a true millennium-old fiend.
She wondered if Floxie wasn’t even a little embarrassed about bullying a junior like her so blatantly. What a damn old immortal.
She hoped Floxie would just die soon or at least get seriously injured.
It would be best if Floxie got beaten half to death tomorrow.
Then she could bring Emilia in to finish Floxie off and complete their deal, allowing Ivy to escape.
No, Emilia might not be trustworthy either. It would be safer to just sneak away quietly without telling anyone.
Escape quietly, no loud noises.
Ivy silently cursed Floxie in her heart, but just then, Floxie seemed to sense something and turned to look directly at Ivy.
Ivy stiffened instantly, standing up straight and looking very obedient.
“W-what’s wrong?”
Ivy asked cautiously.
Floxie squinted her eyes at Ivy.
“You know, my sixth sense is very strong; I can roughly tell what people around me think.”
“And my sixth sense just told me you were secretly thinking some bad things about me.”
Floxie’s tone was casual, but her gaze carried a hint of scrutiny.
“W-what? There really is telepathy???” Ivy screamed inside her mind, her eyes widening in shock.
But the moment she made that expression, Ivy immediately realized her mistake.
Her shock clearly confirmed that Floxie’s suspicion was true.
She said it was a sixth sense, not literally reading her thoughts, but still.
Wasn’t she just walking into a trap?
But it was already too late for Ivy to hide her shocked expression.
She saw Floxie’s eyebrows twitch and then a cold smirk appeared on her face.
The next moment, Floxie grabbed Ivy’s ear.
Ivy immediately yelped in pain and leaned toward Floxie.
“Don’t lie, don’t lie… I’m sorry, I’m sorry!!!”
Ivy shouted, apologizing loudly.
Her ears were a weak spot; there was no way she could withstand Floxie’s grip, so she surrendered immediately.
“Come on, tell me—what exactly were you thinking about me in your mind?”
Floxie slowed her pace but didn’t loosen her grip on Ivy’s ear, only easing the pressure slightly.
“Uh…”
Ivy’s words caught in her throat.
There was no way she could confess that she thought Floxie was a damn old immortal who liked playing old bull and young cow…
And that she had been planning to bring in Floxie’s enemies once she was near death, so she could escape.
If Floxie found out about her betrayal…
She might be beaten into some ‘Ivy-chan’ on the spot.
Although Ivy felt that she probably wouldn’t be killed anytime soon, her ear was still in Floxie’s hand.
If she told the truth now, her poor ear was doomed.
“C-can I not say it…?”
Ivy tried to struggle.
“Of course you can.”
Floxie said indifferently, then tightened her grip on Ivy’s ear.
Ivy immediately started tearing up from the pain, clutching Floxie’s hand with teary eyes.
“I’m… I’m saying it, isn’t that enough…”
“I was just thinking, are you some kind of pervert…?”
“Always bullying me, making me cry. The more I don’t want to do something, the more you want me to do it…”
Ivy blurted out her true feelings about Floxie.
She felt that if she didn’t tell some truth, Floxie probably wouldn’t let her go.
Besides, she had already called Floxie a pervert out loud before.
So… hopefully, it wouldn’t be a big deal.
Ivy saw Floxie’s eyebrows twitch again, then the grip on her ear tightened a few degrees.
Tears streamed down Ivy’s face as her steps faltered.
But just then, Ivy suddenly felt her ear lighten, and the pain disappeared.
Before she could react, she instinctively took a few steps toward Floxie and collapsed into her arms.
Ivy hurriedly pushed Floxie away and backed up a few steps, determined to keep her distance.
But she realized Floxie wasn’t looking at her; instead, she was staring off in one direction.
Seeing that Floxie wasn’t hurting her anymore, Ivy cautiously moved closer again.
Her intuition told her this place might not be safe.
With her small frame, strength, and magic all sealed, if anything happened, she would have to rely on Floxie.
Following Floxie’s gaze, Ivy saw a huge manor.
A massive castle stood tall within, but it looked somewhat dilapidated.
It seemed to have suffered some kind of damage.
Floxie pulled Ivy’s hand and headed toward the manor, but after a few steps, Floxie sensed something was wrong.
She bent down and scooped Ivy into a princess carry, a magic circle forming beneath her feet as she rose into the air, walking on air.
Ivy gasped softly—not from fear, but from the novelty and excitement.
She quickly closed her mouth again, feeling embarrassed about how clueless and unsophisticated she must look.
After leaping over the manor’s wall, Floxie set Ivy down and produced a rope in her hand.
Floxie wrapped the rope around her palm several times, then tied the other end to Ivy’s collar.
Before Ivy could protest, Floxie pulled her inside the castle.
