Su Mu hurried to the multimedia Classroom, but before pushing open the door, she vaguely sensed something unusual.
No, there’s someone inside.
Su Mu tiptoed and peered inside, but she really couldn’t see what was happening by the computer.
Helpless, she could only try pressing her ear against the door to listen in.
Why would someone be here at this hour…
Though, in the Dream World, time does seem pretty jumbled.
Actually, it’s not so much jumbled as it is that there’s no real concept of time at all—just fragments of different memories pieced together to form a scene.
As Su Mu muttered to herself, her face flushed red all the way to her Cemetery.
‘What’s that sound?’
The faint, feminine panting made her blush and her heart race, but on closer listening, she realized something was off.
The sound was coming from the speakers.
The multimedia Classroom was well soundproofed, and the speakers were set low, so it wasn’t until Su Mu pressed her ear to the door that she picked up anything unusual.
But for the person sitting in front of the computer inside, this was a very comfortable surround sound experience.
So, if she wasn’t mistaken—
“It’s Brother A!”
Even more legendary than Mr. Tree, Brother A—a middle-aged man who got disciplined for “reading study materials” in the office.
He was a PE teacher and also worked in management.
His stories had spread far and wide.
No one knew how many years ago it started, but everyone had been passing down tales of his infamous deeds, classics that never faded with time.
If you called him Mr. Li, he might not hear you, but if you called him “Teacher,” he’d whip his head around on the spot.
It was truly shocking that someone like him could end up in management.
Now, Su Mu had run into this living legend.
He had a terrible reputation.
After all, with rumors like that, and Brother A never showing any signs of turning over a new leaf—if anything, he just went further down the path, and his management work was always a mess.
Almost every student had suffered under him, including Su Mu herself—the time she was written up for a serious violation and her parents were called in, it was all Brother A’s doing.
So, the two were pretty much sworn enemies.
There was a problem with her appearance, so the first response should have been to fix it, not to punish her directly.
The issue was with Su Mu, but to treat a first-time offender like that was really over the top.
Back then—
The School Rules stated: Girls couldn’t have a buzz cut, boys couldn’t shave their heads (so, theoretically, girls could shave their heads—what a loophole).
Su Mu, with her buzz cut and no school uniform, was naturally stopped.
“Girls can’t have buzz cuts. Do you think the School Rules are just for show?”
“I’m not a girl.”
Su Mu had been feeling guilty, but still instinctively retorted, which only made Brother A angrier.
“Talking back, huh? Want to try saying that again?”
Was that really talking back?
But Su Mu couldn’t just drag him to the restroom to prove her point—not that she wanted to.
In the end, for the silent Su Mu, Brother A’s decision was to call her parents.
She didn’t want to think about what happened afterward, only remembering that ever since then, she believed every bad rumor about Brother A.
If there ever came a day when their roles were reversed, and she caught him doing something—
Well, here it was!
Even if it was only in a dream.
Su Mu’s smile grew so wide it nearly reached her ears, countless plans sprouting in her mind, all with the same goal.
‘Get him!’
Half a minute later, Su Mu successfully linked the multimedia Classroom speakers with every other speaker in the school.
But the problem was, there was no one around.
Without an audience, what was the point?
“It’s simple. Just go to the Campus Security Office and adjust the clock. People should show up after that.”
Isn’t the Dream World magical?
While Brother A was still lost in his “immersion,” Su Mu silently locked the Classroom door, then cheerfully made her way to the Campus Security Office, setting the electronic clock at the door to 8:00 a.m.
Sure enough, the moment she let go, the campus suddenly filled with people.
Their faces were blurry, but Su Mu could hear them chattering noisily.
Lively, just as it should be!
Seeing the audience had arrived, Su Mu’s joy was hard to contain.
Her finger crept toward the volume control.
‘Let’s go, elbow up!’
[Volume: 50%]
Students who had been dozing through their morning classes suddenly perked up, looking in confusion toward the speakers in the Classroom.
That sultry sound filled every corner of the school.
The air was thick with that cheerful atmosphere, and whether teacher or student, as soon as they heard it, they all thought of the same person.
Meanwhile, the main character of this incident was still lost in his own world, unable to pull himself out—until someone started knocking on the glass of the multimedia Classroom.
Brother A looked up in horror, seeing the crowd gathering around the Classroom, his excitement vanishing at a visible rate.
But the speakers were still blasting.
Imagining the consequences, Brother A braced himself, shuffled to the computer, and tried to shut it off.
But how could Su Mu let him succeed?
Not only did the computer not stop, but the volume went up to 100%.
Even people outside the school could have heard the ruckus—if there had been any passersby, they definitely would have stopped to gawk at the school.
If something like this happened in real life, it’d be a massive scandal for sure.
Trapped in the multimedia Classroom, Brother A looked like a monkey in a zoo, baring his teeth at the people outside the glass, trying to scare them off with his authority, but all he got in return was endless laughter.
His already terrible reputation was now completely destroyed.
And the mastermind behind it all, Su Mu, was standing in the crowd, snickering to herself.
Whether this was happening in the Dream World or reality no longer mattered—the important thing was that she felt truly satisfied.
The figures around her dissolved into streaks of light, and though this wasn’t a key memory, Su Mu still gained a modest boost in Magic Power.
Now, only Su Mu remained around the multimedia Classroom, staring through the glass at the shocked and furious Brother A.
Maybe she’d hit some kind of foundational logic of the Dream World, because in just a few seconds, Brother A regained his composure, pointed his finger at Su Mu, and roared angrily:
“Like laughing, do you? Tell me your name! I want to meet your parents and see how they raised you!”
The next moment, the surroundings twisted and warped so much that Su Mu could barely stand.
When she came to, her butt was already sinking into that familiar leather sofa.
People came and went—some carrying homework, some bringing tea for the teachers, teachers chatting and laughing with colleagues.
They walked past Su Mu, glanced at her curiously, but didn’t stop.
The heater gurgled in the pipes, making the office so warm you could take off your coat.
But Su Mu just instinctively pulled her clothes tighter.
It felt a little lonely.
